After YOCSEF forum on June 26, YOCSEF AC had a meeting at Jade Palace Hotel. Jia Chen, Xu Cheng, Zifeng, Ying Jiang, Mingshu, Yuanchun, Maosong, Weiqing, Qin Wang, Zhiwei, Qianfang and Zide attended the meeting. Fang Li, Xiangdong, and Zhi Jin attended the YOCSEF, but left earlier for business. The meeting was hosted by Zide.

All AC members gave great thanks to two ECs: Weiqing and Qin who made enough preparations for the forum and hosted an excellent forum.

Zide reported the YOCSEF status on marketing, income and other arrangement in this year.

By great effort for YOCSEF promotion and marketing, all contracts with sponsors have been signed so far, much money has been got from the sponsors, and it is enough for YOCSEF activities this year, promotion brochure printing, advertising, gifts, branches setting and so on. AC was satisfied with the work.

A special forum was held on May 29 successfully, several media, such as People’s Daily, People’s Daily-Overseas Edition, Guangming Daily, CCW, Science and Technology Daily, CNW and BJTV gave detailed report. Such a special forum may be held on September.

Some preparation for branches has been done by Tieniu and Zide. It is confirmed that:

Shanghai on Oct. 29, hosted by Aoying and Yuxi: 如何培养合格的计算机专业人才？;

Shangsha on Nov. 6, hosted by Huimin: 如何保障我国信息基础设施的安全？

Before hosting the YOCSEF forums or seminars, Executive Chairmen out of Beijing have to attend YOCSEF at least once, for example, to attend the forum on Aug 14 in Beijing, learning how to plan, organize and host a forum.

AC declared again that to be an AC member means work and contribution to YOCSEF, instead of only an honor. AC decided that, because Yixian is too busy to attend YOCSEF AC meeting and activities, according to YOCSEF regulations, he will not be an AC member from the day, but AC warmly welcome him to take part in the activities of YOCSEF later on.
