CCF ICSS 2025 Held

On May 9-11, 2025, CCF 18th International Conference on Service Science (CCF ICSS 2025)  was successfully held at the Xikang Campus of Hohai University. 

Hosted by CCF, and organized by CCF Technical Committee on Service Computing and Hohai University, CCF ICSS brings together professionals and scholars in service science and related fields to explore academic research, technical cooperation, educational development, and career advancement around the world. As an important international academic conference in the fields of service science and service computing, CCF ICSS attracted over 200 attendees from more than 40 universities, research institutions, and enterprises from 11 countries and regions including China, the United States, Italy, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Ghana, effectively promoting international cooperation and academic exchanges in service science.

The organizer received 74 papers, and only 23 long articles were accepted for publication in the conference proceedings published by Springer. Among them, the proportion of papers signed by institutions outside China is the highest in history.


Invited speakers including Professor Abdelsalam Ali Helal, member of the European Academy of Sciences and the University of Bologna in Italy, Professor Athman Bouguettaya,  foreign member of the European Academy of Sciences and the University of Sydney in Australia, Professor Guo Minyi, CCF Fellow,  foreign member of the European Academy of Sciences, and professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Liu Yunxin from Tsinghua University, and IEEE Fellow, Mr. James Wang, DAMA China President, and Editor in Chief of the "Data Governance and Digitization" series, delivered wonderful presentations on the themes of "IoTility: Unleashing the Utility of Internet of Things through Microservices Architectural Extensions", "Detecting Fake Images as a Service", "Cloud Native Architects", "On Device AI: Empowering Every Device with AI", and "Data for AI: What We Should Do, Challenges and Opportunities", bringing a high-level academic feast to the participants.

There are also four breakout sessions to cover topics such as intelligent industrial Internet technology, selected papers promotion of CCF Level A conferences and journals, vertical AI and large-scale model services, industrial software and talent cultivation. These presentations shared the latest research results and experience in the integration of industry and education, providing important references for the cutting-edge development of the service science field.
